The United States Men's National Team has announced its final roster for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, and 11 players with ties to the USL Championship have been named to the squad. Head coach Gregg Berhalter has selected a diverse group of players that he believes will give the USA a good chance to compete in Qatar.
Among the 11 players with ties to the USL are: Brenden Aaronson, Tyler Adams, Jesus Ferreira , Sean Johnson, Aaron Long, Jordan Morris, Tim Ream, Cristian Roldan, Josh Sargent, Matt Turner, DeAndre Yedlin,
This is a great accomplishment for these players, and a testament to the high level of competition in the USL. We wish them the best of luck as they represent our country on the world's biggest stage.
