In response to temperatures that have plagued the Phoenix metropolitan area this summer, Phoenix Rising has made the decision to push back the kickoff times of its next two home matches. The shift in schedule aims to ensure the safety and well-being of both players and fans attending the matches.
The matches, originally slated to begin at 7:30pm, will now kick off at 8 p.m. local time on Saturday, August 5, and Saturday, August 12. By rescheduling the matches to a later time, Rising hopes to mitigate the impact of the sweltering heat. This adjustment comes as no surprise, as Phoenix has experienced a string of scorching days with temperatures frequently surpassing the 120-degree mark.
