Phoenix is coming off 6 points in two games. Rising is enjoying a small run of form, but their two victories have come against two of the worst teams in the league. And they match up again tonight to the worst team in the western conference with Las Vegas.
Last week Rising got their first shut out of the year against Orange County, which at times looked like the team was going to let the clean sheet slip away and possibly walk out with only a point. Last week Rising saw 57% of the possession and 8 shots, only 3 of which were on goal. Arteaga got the loan goal of the night from an assist by Zambrano in the 67th minute.
Last week Vegas fell to Pittsburg 4-1. Vegas controlled possession in the game even with the score favoring Pittsburg, having possessed the ball for 52% of the game. Vegas also wasn't light on the shot as they attempted at goal 12 times, but only 2 of them going on target and one went into the back of the net. The lone Vegas goal came in the 86th minute from Lage which was assisted by Rios.
Kickoff is tonight at 7:30PM at 38th and Washington. Come out and see if the boys can get three points for the third time in a row!
